Caramelo is a group that ranks fourth in terms of sales turnover in Spain. Our design concept for this group was for the space and décor of their Flag Ship store in Madrid, Calle Serrano and ten more stores in Spain and Portugal. The idea comes from the concept of visual continuity, with the use of ‘finished’ complementary materials in a very sophisticated area characterized by extreme functionality and well-measured flexibility in the décor. Behind the minimal concept of this project lies the desire for open space with ‘sophisticated’ use of materials, and functionality brought to the extreme. A backdrop of windows in U profile glass, inspire an atmosphere which gives a sense of space. Natural features such as sandstone used for flooring and wood pannelling on walls and fixtures define the fundamental strength of each outline and feature, highlighted and underpinned by the transparency of the furnishings and décor. Our studio expressed all the characteristics peculiar to the architectural profession for this project and projected them towards a more global service, from designing the OTTODISAMPIETRO stores to consultancy and art direction in selecting all the most appropriate designer labels for this client, from Gucci to Jil Sander. This project unites two different activities, optics and audiometry. Inside this unequivocal space, our sculptural display concept for optics is integrated into the new concept for audiometry. The Multiopticas group has dedicated a corner to audiometry which is immediately noticeable and visible from the outside, and recognizable by its large oval shape. Simplicity in communication and formal, aesthetic neutrality are the essential characteristics of this new MICROAUDIO corner....

This latest store designed for the CULT FASHION Group, inaugurated in October 2008, is the continuation and development of the previous space MEGAPOLIS I. Both stores are characterized by the ‘sculptural feel’ given to the space. We moved from the soft roundness of the bright red forms in the first store, to the more rigorous style of the second, using red to reflect and identify the brand and ‘sculpture’ as the diversifying element in which space is arranged....
Megapolis is a space dedicated to young fashion. The power of the space plan is accentuated by the use of very bright red in strong contrast with white. Soft forms and strong colours are an invitation to ‘escape from reality’. ...
