The CONCEPT for Edward stores, based on respecting original space, was used to design the group’s historic store. The desire to convey LUXURY accentuated the need to use rich and at the same time ‘minimal’ materials, a richness of intrinsic value. Slabs of BLACK MOROCCAN MARBLE measuring over 2 metres were used on floors and walls in ‘sheets’ placed at right angles, like stage wings detaching furnishings and décor from the spatial perimeter.
